The electrical and automation engineer ensure the required availability for the production process of process electrical and instrumentations systems at the lowest possible cost and taking into account both legal and Kegna’s regulations. Determine the policy and master plan in the fields of electrical installations and instrumentation within the brewery.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. People Management and Development:

   1. Support the Senior Electrical and automation Manager in preparing training needs analysis and develop training plans accordingly; monitor that training delivers the expected results

   2. Initiate training courses and/or training plans

   3. Provide direction and to develop professional knowledge within the team

   4. Evaluation of technicians’ and third parties’ performance

2. Plant and process operations:

   1. Organize, execute and validate all projects, modifications required on electrical installation

   2. Ensure all after care and maintenance on electrical installations is properly organized and certified. (lightning protection, UPS, drawing management, earthing measurements, etc.)

   3. Support with troubleshooting and support to (senior) shift technicians, in case of problems

   4. Contract management of all contract regarding electrical maintenance (e.g. IPP plant, earthing measurement, etc.)

   5. High voltage system responsible

Organize safe and effective start up and shut down of the brewery in case of power disruptions

1. Accountable for electrical drawing management

2. Assess, train and/or organize training for electricians, shift technicians, dayshift technicians, operators with regard to electrical work.

3. Assess shift technicians performance with regards to solving electrical issues

4. Article manager for all electrical components required in stores

5. Ensure all electrical repairable components are effectively repaired and controlled

6. Organize all required calibrations on the production instrumentation according to the maintenance plans

7. Provide input on the breweries calibration plans

8. Organize the automation workshop

9. Ensure all automation related repairable components are effectively repaired and controlled

10. Organize all required automation maintenance is performed effectively

11. Accountable for version management of software of production facilities

12. Perform breakdown analysis (BDA)

13. Participate in TPM PM teams for breakdowns and short-stops reduction.

14. Programs and Systems:

    1. Ensure and facilitate implementation of Company strategic programs

    2. Ensure and facilitate implementation of Company systems

15. Support the Technical Manager in preparing the department budget, in terms of materials, new software, new hardware

16. Safety:

    1. Ensure plant maintenance is carried out respecting safety rules and regulations

    2. Make sure “Safe Work Permit” is implemented whenever necessary

    3. Proactively manage safety of contractors together with SHE Engineer and colleagues from other departments

    4. Promote implementation of Accident Registration and Analysis when necessary and support the SHE Engineer during the investigation of the root causes for accidents

• Academic requirement: MSC/BSC in Electrical and Engineering or related fields

• Work experience: 4/6years of relevant experience\
