Job Description

1.    JOB SUMMARY

Partnership Division Manager is responsible for managing the relationships between VFMFI and outside entities. He/She works with vendors, suppliers, contractors, and other third parties to ensure that both sides are getting what they need from the relationship. He/She may also be tasked with developing new partnerships or identifying ways to expand existing ones. This might include researching potential partners, creating proposals outlining how a partnership could benefit both parties, negotiating terms of the agreement, etc.

2.    SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Developing strategic plans with partners to ensure effective communication and collaboration
•    Managing relationships with partners to ensure they are satisfied with the partnership’s performance
•    Reviewing contracts with partners to ensure compliance with legal requirements
•    Managing partner relations and communications including negotiating contracts, managing conflicts, and initiating termination procedures when necessary
•    Developing new business opportunities for the company through strategic alliances with other companies
•    Coordinating with legal staff to establish contracts and agreements with partners
•    Ongoing management of key partnership action plans while identifying new business and revenue generating opportunities, both hiring and funding;
•    Enable partner deal support, cross functional planning, relationship management, and analytical insights;
•    Prepare and deliver compelling pitch materials that are tailored to the corporate partner and that showcase Pursuit’s value proposition;
•    Work with senior leadership to develop and write program concepts, proposals, and reports;
•    Lead customized complex negotiation with our strategic partners;
•    Develop strategies and business plans with partners and execute against metrics and milestones to drive user growth and revenue;
•    Manage acknowledgement, reporting and stewardship for contracts and partnership agreements.
•    Performs other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Job Requirements

•    MBA/MA/BA degree in Economics, Management, Marketing, Accounting or related fields. 
•    A minimum of 7/9 years of relevant work experience in a partnership development or strategic partnerships role, out of which 3 years in senior position preferably in MFI/Banks.
TECHNICAL AND OTHER SKILLS
•    Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills;
•    Interest in technology and industry fluency preferred;
•    Creative, flexible, and solution-oriented;
•    Ability to navigate ambiguous situations and to drive to clarity, with a mindset of building repeatable processes for the future;
•    Extremely motivated and inspired by Pursuit’s mission;
•    Ability to quickly synthesize complex ideas, align them with business priorities, and devise actionable strategies to accomplish goals;
•    Data-driven and results-focused;
