Job Description:

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records for our client's growing steel manufacturing business. You will work closely with the finance team to support various accounting functions and contribute to the overall financial health of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

• Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.

• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making processes.

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.

• Assist with budget preparation and forecasting.

• Coordinate and support internal and external audits.

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and filings.

• Implement and maintain effective internal controls.

• Mentor and guide junior accounting staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

• Typing with two hands and speed is mandatory - write your typing speed in words per minute on your CV or summary.
