Job Description
The Data Analyst Officer position is responsible for collecting, compiling and analyzing operation reports (credit, saving, status of written off loans and other reports as requested) and submit to the Business Analysis and Reporting Manager on timely basis. He assists the Business Analysis and Reporting Manager in ensuring the execution of various assignments on timely basis.
1: Preparation and analysis of operation report:
Check Pre-saving collection done as per the management direction
Before loan approval check the resource, mobilization done as per MFI requirement
Evaluate loan disbursement amount circulation within MFI
Receives reports from Area offices and compiles data on credit and saving operation periodically;
Truck daily saving movement
In coordination with the Finance and Accounts department Fund transfer movement
Prepare the organic saving performance at branch level
Keeps and properly documents periodic reports in soft and hard copies;
Generates/compiles/ and submits weekly, monthly, quarterly branch portfolio and saving status report;
Prepare quarterly report regular base for NBE, DBE and AEMFI and additional report based on request
Maintains data base on written off loans; rescheduled loans, refinanced loans
Submits status report on written off loans, rescheduled loans, refinanced on quarterly or as requested;
Follows up with Legal department and other concerned bodies and submits complete report on amount recovered from written off loans;
In coordination with the Finance and Accounts department ensure that branches received on time fund they requested and sent to Finance after approval by concerned authority;
Assists the CRO in all matters pertaining to operation activities including ensuring the execution of assignments to branches;
2: Follow up and report on written of loans
Maintains data base on written off loans; rescheduled loans, refinanced loans
Submits status report on written off loans, rescheduled loans, refinanced on quarterly or as requested;
Follows up with Legal department and other concerned bodies and submits complete report on amount recovered from written off loans;
3: Follow up on timely fund transfer to branches
In coordination with the Finance and Accounts department ensure that branches received on time fund they requested and sent to Finance after approval by concerned authority;
Assists the CRO in all matters pertaining to operation activities including ensuring the execution of assignments to branches;

Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Business Administration/Accounting/Economics/statistics/computer science.
3 years of experience in data compilation, analysis and related.
Good understanding of microfinance business;
Self-starter and perseverance in character
Proficient in Microsoft office applications;
Very good communication and data interpretation skills.
