Premier Switch Solutions S.C. (PSS) is a leading Electronic Payment Processing Company, established by major private banks of Ethiopia. The Company has implemented the first multi-institution shared-switch infrastructure to provide its member banks with a state-of-the-art payment technology to drive ATM, POS, e-commerce, Mobile Banking and other payment channels and provide clearing of Debit/Credit card transactions for the banks. 

Currently, PSS has one vacant position stated below and would like to invite applicants who meet the qualification and required experience listed for this job opening.

Description of Duties

• Implement the strategic direction of the network infrastructure.

• Develop and maintain the Enterprise IT network Architecture. 

• Develop policies, procedures and process documents for network infrastructure administration and lead in their implementation through the continuous review.

• Manage the design, setup, installation and integration of various network environments, or process designs for IT network infrastructure, any outsourced technology and business process solutions to meet the business’ requirements as per PCI DSS and other relevant security standards

• Develop and maintain a network architecture that supports the business requirements. 

• Build high availability and best performance of networks to meet the customer expectation.

• Manage vendor relationship and monitor all network support activities within established OLAs/SLAs.

• Discuss with vendors to implement fixes and issues that are logged to vendors portals.

• Involve in different infrastructure and other related projects. 

• Develop procedures to ensure network security and quality are maintained.

• Establish users’ privilege and monitor user access management.

• Conduct network performance metrics. 

• Manage and implement reporting systems. 

• Implement infrastructure capacity planning and business continuity.

• Ensure configuration and log backups, restoration, archiving and retention policy and procedures are properly implemented regularly. 

• Manage high availability, confidentiality, integrity and reliability of the IT infrastructure and disaster recovery site.

• Lead maintenance, upgrade and migration of network infrastructure and related systems.

• Research new infrastructure technologies and work with the relevant work units in the development of new products and services.

• Prepare budget for the unit.

• Provide training, coaching and mentoring of employees within the unit towards effective career development.

• Manage incidents timely.

• Prepare periodic reports

• Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor.
  Salary:     As per the Company scale with attractive benefit package 

Qualification & Work Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Electrical engineering, ICT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field 

• At least 8 years’ experience in network and systems administration  

• Training in Cisco CCNA, CCNA Security, CCNP or equivalent is preferable. 

• Experience in managing and administering ICT systems, network infrastructure management preferable. 

• Experience in network design and implementation, security, internet protocol and network infrastructure is preferable.
