A General Manager at our client's esteemed German bakery and cafe in Ethiopia is a dynamic and skilled professional responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the establishment. This role involves strategic planning, staff management, and ensuring excellent customer service. The General Manager ensures efficient production, handles procurement and inventory, and monitors financial performance to drive profitability and enhance customer engagement. This leader will work closely with the owner and senior management team to implement innovative ideas and maintain the high standards of the bakery and cafe.
Leadership and Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, managing and motivating a diverse team to deliver exceptional customer service.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement business strategies to enhance operational efficiency and drive growth.
Customer Experience: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by maintaining quality standards in both product and service.
Financial Oversight: Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, to ensure profitability.
Inventory Management: Supervise ordering, inventory control, and stock management to maintain optimal levels.
Quality Control: Uphold the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety.

Qualifications:
3+ years of Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably in the hospitality or food and beverage industry.

Financial acumen with the ability to analyze and manage budgets.
Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain processes.
