DHL Global Forwarding Ethiopia has an opening for an IT/BPO Specialist where you will drive IRR benefits realization and operational resilience by converting traditional “analog” businesses process & practices to fully applying the IT renewal roadmap solutions, transform the country by the adoption of our digital technologies across the entire business including digital customer interaction and experience across the entire customer portfolio as well as shape, drive and manage the IT function, delivery framework for systems/ applications, integration and infrastructure deployment in line with overall country business strategy and objectives, and Group guidelines and policies.  Join us now in connecting people and improving lives.

Duties and Responsibilities

• You will lead digitalization priorities for all core operational systems and customer facing applications in country.

• You will be balancing understanding for IT-systems and related constraints whilst understanding our business priorities and ensuring needs of “end users” are met in pragmatic and cost[1]effective manner. Keeping in mind the IRR & SE priorities for the region.

• You will drive benefits realization key areas in the country utilizing experts in reporting, billing, rates, tariffs, training, master data and architecture. Obligatory Benefits realization accountabilities are

1. Autorating/Auto costing

2. FRP as single source of truth

3. Paperless processes

4. Data pre-population

5. GSC as a back office compliance and process streamline.

• You will close collaboration with regional BuIT/BPO/Ops counter parts and country super users to run an excellent business process management system harmonizing where possible between the regions.

• You will direct effective and efficient delivery of all IT services and solutions within the country aligned with the overall business strategy and priorities.

• You will contribute in planning and execution of IT_BPO initiatives while ensuring convergence of country to global applications, in collaboration with other businesses and IT functional stakeholders.

• You will support the country’s IT strategy and provide input to the overall country’s business plans in line with country’s business strategy and objectives, corporate guidelines and policies.

• You will coordinate planning of project delivery requirements with the Regional IT Application, Training and Applications Management Head.

• You will be responsible to direct the development and revisions country operational procedures specifically to align with DGF’s target enterprise structure

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in information management or general management
