Job Description
Chief information officer are Responsible for the processes for managing, evaluating, and assessing how well the agency is managing its IT resources. Information security and privacy – CIOs are responsible for establishing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with an agency-wide information security program.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership for the Bank’s Information Technology and Information Security functions.
Design and implement IT strategy that are aligned with the Bank’s business objectives.
Plan current and future adoption and migration needs of new technologies and ensure the required budget is secure
Oversee the day to day IT Operations that includes system administration and network management
Manage relationship with key IT vendor.
Ensure compliance with relevant IT related laws and regulations.
Identify and prioritize IT related initiatives that support the Bank’s growth and competitive advantage.
Job Requirement
Education : MSC in Computer Science, Computer engineering, Information system, Information technology, MIS or related fields of study
Experience: Minimum of 13 years of experience in relevant position preferably in the banking industry of which 4 years as Director in information technology posts
