Purpose of the job

• In charge of the team mechanic and electricians and oversee their work.

• Maintaining and troubleshooting equipment.

• Provide technical guidance and support as the team installs, maintains and repairs the factory technical system.

• Ensuring machine availability >90% by coordinating your team. 

• prepare  preventive maintenance plan, specify necessary spare parts and always cheek stock status of spares

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise on his shift technical issues 

• Coordinate your team to insure the smooth operation of the machines.

• Review your team performances regularly, fills out their performance appraisal, train/capacitate them and support them to achieve their objectives in the company’s goals

• Prepare preventive maintenance plan and do according to plan and report the tasks per formed to immediate supervision.

• Immediately inform to immediate supervisor if any problem happens beyond his capacity and which needs decision.

• Introduce mechanisms whereby to improve efficiency of machineries, equipment’s & power plants and reduce down time.

• Prepare on job trainings to upgrade machine operation & handing skills to operate to operate smoothly and efficiency.

• Introduce mechanisms whereby to avoid or minimize machines break down and failure of machineries & utilities by performing preventive maintenance and fast maintenance of breakages.

• Specify clear and proper spare parts needed and check periodically the availability and announce ahead.

• Prepare operating guidelines, procedures, maintenance manual and cheek list for each machinery, equipment & utility.

• Maintain break downs with in short time by using testing devices to detect & correct mal functions.

• Identify production bottle necks (machine parts) & propose solutions.

• Ensure the safety & smooth operation of machineries & power plants.

• Ensure that the product is clean from contact with grease, oil & other foreign parts inside and outside of bottle parts.

• Ensure that all mechanical and tubing’s are safe and buried or with tray.

• Sets periodic maintenance &repair programs in compliance with the PM plan and production schedule.

• Ensure that all production machineries are clean before and after production.

• Ensure that all production machineries and components are in good condition prior to starting productions.

Job Requirements

Education

• BSC Degree in mechanical/electrical engineering and related fields.

Work experience

• For Engineering 4+ years of relevant experience in Bottling and Beverage Company.

• For diploma 7+ years of experience in Bottling and Beverage company.

Core Competencies 

• Excellent in communication /reporting both verbal and written skills.

• Proven ability on leadership and technical (mechanical and electrical maintenance) skills.

• Problem solving skills
