Job Description
GeezJobs Recruitment, on behalf of our client, is searching for a dynamic and experienced Finance Manager to oversee all financial operations and ensure the company’s financial health and success. The ideal candidate will provide strategic financial guidance, analyze financial data, and develop plans to maximize profitability.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide accurate financial reports and interpret financial information for senior management.
Advise on investment activities and recommend strategies for optimal returns.
Maintain the company’s financial health by monitoring performance and identifying areas for improvement.
Analyze costs, pricing, sales results, and overall company performance against business plans.
Develop trends and projections for the company’s finances.
Conduct reviews for cost-reduction opportunities and implement necessary changes.
Oversee the finance department’s operations, set goals, and ensure objectives are met.
Manage the preparation of the company’s budget.
Collaborate with auditors to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Liaise with other departments to align on company plans and future paths.
Job Requirements
Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or related fields with five years of experience, including three years at a managerial level, OR
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Banking and Finance, or related fields with seven years of experience, including five years at a managerial level.
Excellent working knowledge of IFRS and local regulations. Certification in IFRS adoption and implementation is an asset.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail, even under time pressure.
