Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare necessary paperwork to process insurance, and assist the company in completing required paperwork and follow-up throughout the application of insurance process;

  • Work with line of business, underwriting center and claims for maintaining good inter company relationship;

  • Handle company’s inquires promptly, politely and accurately with company’s requirements;

  • Identify problems and provide solutions or alternatives whenever possible to satisfy disagreements, and handle complaints and carry out assessments

  • Review terms and policies of insurance, provide detailed advice and assist in every procedure of insurance;

  • Organize, coordinate and manage technical assessments for the insurance component;

  • Process applications and claims while adhering to the company's policies and regulations; 

  • Arrange insurance coverage for necessary requirements and inquires in all classes of risks; 

  • Report to senior manager on adverse trend of developments of claims and underwriting and companies with adverse claim experience 

  • Constantly review underwriting and claims performances and activities to ensure company demands are met;

Job Requirements

  • BA Degree in Management, Banking and Insurance or related field

  • At least 3 years of related underwriting and claims experience 

  • Prior experience working as underwriting/claims officer

  • Job focused with result-oriented and proactive attitude

  • Strong knowledge of the related regulatory environment of insurance regulations & procedures

  • Ability to manage your own work responsibly and provide guidance to other support line of departments

  • Good Microsoft office knowledge

  • Good knowledge of accurate records keeping and interpreting written documents

  • Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively both orally and in writing
