• The Maintenance Planner is responsible to facilitate continuous improvement in plant reliability through TPM development and maintenance / project planning and for maintenance development and scheduling for Packaging, Brewing & Utilities. Also, to ensure optimum utilization of plant, spare parts and people, to produce quality product at minimum cost which meets customer requirements while complying with the Brewery standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Planning of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual maintenance activities Generating relevant information by analyzing data from follow up & maintenance records and Interpreting the resulting information so as to take the appropriate corrective action.

• Develop and clarify the scope of work, coordinating the manufacturing windows, evaluating the resource and load balancing and the spare parts (stock and non-stock materials), Work with different departments to establish levels of service and prioritization for critical assets,

• Plans for the effective maintenance, calibration, repair of equipment and optimization of plant and associated devices by locating plant equipment, spares and Develop standards for repetitive jobs, historical job estimations and track craft/crew back logs.

• Create and maintain the calendar to organize and manage all PM’s over one-year cycle in order to optimize time and resources. 

• Conducting scheduled Plant, Process & Equipment Audit and providing information for optimization of availability, performance & efficiency respectively.

• Ensure CMMS (Computerized maintenance management system), QMS, ERP, EMS and KIAZEN principles are in place and recording of activities in the appropriate operating formats and Documentation is properly made.

• Monitor the plan on the planned maintenance outage to ensure effectiveness

• Make recommendations to the maintenance engineer, Maintenance manager and packaging team if unforeseen work arises.

• Prepare spare parts and all other resources to carry out preventive maintenance Ensuring smooth flow of materials by eliminating the bottlenecks if any, in production

• Generate system improvement ideas and follow their implementation when approved.

• Perform other duties given to him/her by his/her immediate leader.

• Autonomous Maintenance and Asset Care in place and working

• Continuously improve (optimize) plans and looks for opportunities to reduce the overall planned maintenance outage, whilst ensuring that all required work is carried out and the plant is not placed at risk

• Works well in teams by communicating effectively within teams and all levels in the plant while also contributing to self and team development

• Schedule development and improvement training

• Maintain 5S in areas of responsibility 

• Perform task assigned by Maintenance Manger

Job Requirements

• Academic requirement: MSC/BSC Electro- Mechanical Engineering or related fields 

• Work experience: 4/6years of relevant experience
