Job Description
Network engineers are responsible for building and maintaining the day-to-day operation of computer networks that companies and organizations rely on. These networks typically include an intranet, extranet, local area network (LAN), and wide area network (WAN).
Duties and Responsibilities:-
Installs, operates, maintains, and repairs network infrastructure
Act as an escalation point to lead engineer for internal and external projects.
Conduct site surveys and implementation assessments for internal and external customers.
Communicates (oral and written) effectively with customers, vendors, colleagues, and management about services, system availability, and information.
Install, Maintain, and provide daily operational support for managed customer networking environments (switching/routing infrastructure, firewalls, load balancers, IPS/IDS, etc.).
Monitor and conduct daily backups for end users.
Perform any other task as assigned by the management
Job Requirements:-
BSc/BA in Computer Science or a related field
3+ years’ experience working in network infrastructure
CCNA and/or CCNP required
Datacenter experience
Fiber installation and configuration experience
Advanced experience with router configuration, switches, cameras, servers, and Cisco network switches
Advanced understanding of subnetting, VLANs, and address schemas
Advanced knowledge of networking concepts and TCP/IP
Advanced knowledge of routing protocol
Advanced understanding of DNS, DHCP, and WINS protocols, WAN protocols, and Voice protocols
