You will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle of implementing our FinTech application and IT systems, ensuring they meet business needs and regulatory requirements. While leading the project team to achieve successful implementation, you will also gain valuable experience in product development, paving the way for potential future transition into a Product Innovation and Development Manager role.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

• Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for the FinTech application and IT system implementation.

• Lead and manage cross-functional project teams, fostering effective communication and collaboration among developers, operations, and stakeholders.

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies.

• Manage project scope, ensuring deliverables meet all requirements within budget and schedule constraints.

• Track project progress, and identify and address any roadblocks or deviations from the plan.

• Utilize project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) to effectively manage the project lifecycle.

• Document project activities and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

• Identify, engage, and manage project stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals and progress.

• Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and IT professionals, to deliver project objectives.

• Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

• Conduct regular reviews and audits of project processes and outcomes.

• Develop and manage the project budget, ensuring that financial resources are used efficiently and effectively.

• Track project expenditures and report on financial performance.

FinTech Solutions Implementation:

• Work closely with vendors to understand the procured FinTech application and IT systems functionalities.

• Oversee system configuration, customization, and integration with upcoming and existing infrastructure.

• Conduct thorough system testing to ensure functionality, performance, and security meet defined standards.

• Manage user acceptance testing (UAT) with key stakeholders and gather feedback to refine the system.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and industry standards.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system operations and user training.

Product Development:

• Partner with product development teams to understand user needs and market trends.

• Utilize user feedback and market research to prioritize features for future product iterations.

• Assist in the creation and maintenance of product roadmaps.

• Stay updated on the latest FinTech trends and technologies, identifying potential opportunities for product innovation.

• Developing and refining the overall product strategy in alignment with the company’s goals and market trends.

• Oversee product line and trend direction to create a focused brand concept.

• Defining product features, creating user stories, and managing the development process to deliver high-quality, on-time releases.

• Overseeing the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond.

• Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the success of the product and identify areas for improvement.

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and IT infrastructure and security.

• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello).

• Stay up to date with the latest information security trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure continuous improvement of the organization’s security posture.

• Secure interoperability /integration with financial institution

• Knowledge of fintech regulations and compliance requirements.

• Proven track record of successfully managing complex IT projects from inception to completion.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field from a well-recognized University.

• Minimum 3 to 6 years of experience in Software project management, preferably within the FinTech industry in which one year out of his/her experience is in a managerial position.
