Job Summary

An operations Manager plays a pivotal role in steering the operational success of financial technology services. This position involves overseeing the day-to-day activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory policies, and driving operational efficiency. A key responsibility includes managing a team to optimize transaction processes, address complex challenges, and implement strategic improvements.

Functional Competencies

  • Strong experience as an operation manager in the start-up space or leadership experience within strategy consulting with strong exposure to fintech sector engagements.

  • Business acumen, to drive business performance with operational and Process excellence.

  • Proven record of successfully developing and implementing commercial strategies.

  • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management

  • Strategic change anticipation and management skill

  • High level of proficiency in financial analysis, and risk management with the ability to liaise with key stakeholders.

  • Legal contracting skills.

  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance, Business information systems, or a related field from a well-recognized institution with a minimum of 5+ years of related work experience in the finance-technology or finance sector in which the last one year must be in a managerial position.
