Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
Take instruction from the Physical Therapist and head nurse
To record and monitor vital signs and all basic nursing assessment
To provide quality and compassionate nursing care in professional manner
Ensure that therapy area is clean and tidy at all times to prevent infection
Administer treatment to patients such as Electrotherapy
Fix and arrange equipment for physical exercises and treatment and pack them up afterwards
Interact closely with patients to obtain their medical history
Sanitize and sterile all reusable medical equipment’s and facilities
Keep records of patients’ daily progress and response to treatment
Bring patients to areas of therapy and take them out afterwards
Encourage patients to exercise at home as instructed by the Physical Therapist
Observe patients closely to observe and prevent other health issues that may arise due to their condition
Make suggestions to the Physical Therapist on patients’ treatment based on observations.
