Job Description
Environmental finance ensures that environmental and sustainability risks are incorporated in relevant risk management frameworks, strategies and policies. Enables effective and accurate measurement of sustainability outcomes from investments or financial products, and Sustainability Strategy.
Secondary education is required.
A bachelor’s degree in Economics, Political Sciences, Environmental or Social Sciences, or other closely related fields is desirable but it is not a requirement.
Certification in project management would be an added advantage
Minimum of 7 years (with Secondary Education), or 4 years (with Bachelor´s degree), of relevant experience in programme/project management, financial resources management, budget management, and/or administrative support functions;
Experience with tools and methodologies to follow-up on projects or project cycle management is required;
Mastery in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, as a minimum, database management as a plus) and demonstrated experience in web research is required;
Extensive experience in project oversight and/or management highly desirable;
Experience at the national or international level with organizations that manage grants or vertical funds is an advantage;
Good knowledge of an ERP System (such as Quantum) and UNDP programming and budget structure is highly desirable
Experience in procurement will be considered an advantage
Knowledge of vertical funds is an advantage;
Writing and editing skills, as well as experience preparing graphic presentations is an advantage.
Required Skills
Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders including Central Government, State Government, CSOs, International organizations etc. Public Health management;
Ability and proven experience in programme management;
Proven experiences in gender-sensitive programming and working with vulnerable and marginalized communities
