Background

Leonor Trading, founded by three brothers with an eye for business, aims to be a major participant in the international pharmaceutical import and Injera export markets, known for its commitment to quality and excellent customer service.

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced export manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our export operations, including developing and implementing export strategies, managing relationships with international clients, ensuring compliance with local and international trade regulations, and maximizing profitability in the export market. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective export strategies to expand our presence in international markets.

  • Manage and nurture relationships with international clients and partners.

  • Ensure compliance with all local and international trade regulations and requirements.

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

  • Negotiate and finalize export agreements and contracts.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and efficient export operations.

  • Analyze export performance and develop strategies for continuous improvement.

  • Manage and optimize export budgets to maximize profitability.

  • The department works with the other departments to monitor the sales performance of competitors to ensure that the company maintains and develops its competitive position.

  • The individual is responsible for preparing and submitting reports on a weekly or monthly basis, which reflect the operation's progress.

  • The individual carries out additional responsibilities as assigned periodically.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in international Trade, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in export management, preferably in a senior role.

  • In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, export documentation, and logistics.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, MS Office).

  • Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

  • Willing to work flexible and extended hours

  • Above all, willingness to work in a challenging environment.
