Job Description
Ethio Impact Consulting plc is seeking a Quality Assurance on behalf of one of our private company clients in the furniture manufacturing industry.
Under the direct supervision of the industry zone director, he/she is responsible for ensuring that all the company products meet the highest quality standards. This role involves conducting thorough inspections, implementing quality control procedures, and collaborating with production and design teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement comprehensive quality control plans and procedures.
Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to identify defects and deviations from quality standards.
Collaborate with production teams to identify and implement process improvements to enhance product quality.
Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain detailed records of inspection results and quality data.
Train production staff on quality control procedures and standards.
Stay updated on industry quality standards and best practices.
Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with quality management systems.
Prepare and submit quality reports to management.
Quality assurance procedures and policies and oversee the implementation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in industrial Engineering, wood engineering, quality assurance, or a related field.
3-4 years experience in quality assurance within the manufacturing industry..
Furniture manufacturing background is an advantageous.
Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies and tools.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in using quality management software and systems.
In-depth knowledge of quality management system (QMS) procedures
Basic computer skill
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Outstanding problem-solving and decision-making skills
