Work Conditions
We are seeking a passionate and visionary leader to serve as our Primary School Principal. The successful candidate will oversee the leadership, direction, and management of our primary school, ensuring the delivery of an exceptional Cambridge curriculum while upholding the mission and values of Fountain of Knowledge.
Role Description
This full-time, on-site role oversees the daily operations of our International Division. Responsibilities include:
Provide strategic leadership and direction, setting clear goals aligned with the school's vision and the Cambridge curriculum framework.
Oversee all aspects of school operations, including curriculum development, assessment, staffing, and budget management.
Foster a positive, inclusive school culture that celebrates diversity and promotes student well-being.
Recruit, develop, and mentor a team of highly qualified teachers and staff.
Cultivate strong relationships with parents, the school board, and the wider community.
Represent the school at functions and external events.
Ensure compliance with educational regulations and standards.
Continuously monitor and evaluate school effectiveness, implementing improvement initiatives.
Implement and lead the Cambridge curriculum in Kindergarten and Primary, ensuring high-quality education delivery.
Provide guidance, training, and coaching to staff, ensuring smooth operation and excellence in education.
Qualifications and Requirements
Educational Background: Master’s degree (or above) in Educational Leadership, Management, or Pre-primary Education (Cambridge IGCSE aligned preferred).
Minimum Experience: At least 3 years of successful experience as a Kindergarten or Primary school principal or senior leader in a high-performing school.
Certifications: Educational Leadership Competence Certificate and relevant work license.
Curriculum Expertise: Proven track record of implementing and leading a Cambridge or similar curriculum program.
Child Development Knowledge: Strong understanding of child development and best practices in primary education.
Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff, students, and parents.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural environment (native speakers preferred).
Curriculum Development: Strong background in curriculum development and staff training/coaching.
Passion and Commitment: A deep passion for education and a strong commitment to student success.
Collaborative Spirit: Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
