Job Description
Treasury Specialists determine and oversee the financial strategic policies of a company or organisation. They use cash management techniques like account organisation, cash flow monitoring, liquidity planning and control, risk management including currency and commodity risks and maintain close connection with banks and rating agencies.
• Apply for opening, changing, and canceling bank/e-commerce accounts according to the operation guide.
• Prepare and review the cash plan based on the integrated data in the system and the application information of business departments, ensure the subsidiary's cash utilization and liquidity, and submit the fund transfer application e-flow based on the cash plan.
• Working with various teams to understand any Treasury related issues and identify and offer solutions to solve problems to increase profitability.
• Working with colleagues from the business and Compliance teams to monitor and identify any regulatory changes that could impact our business.
• Provide support to local teams on Treasury work related topics such as foreign exchange processes, FX rate setting,
• Support/operate L/G issuance and material review according to the L/G application submitted by the frontline. Perform the verification of L/G receipt according to the process.
• Prepare documents according to the conditions of the L/C.
• Prepare and provide local financing and credit line materials, and support agreement negotiation.
Role Requirements
• Masters’ and/or Bachelor’s Degree Graduate from business school or equivalent with major in Finance.
• Significant and substantial experience in Treasury or in a foreign exchange role in a bank, Central Bank or better relationship with commercial bank and central bank is desirable.
• You will have experience of working with regulators and be able to detail key successes in this area when we meet.
• Experience in building robust and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in English.
• There will be some travel expected but this primarily a hybrid office-based role.
