Job Description
Under the direction of the Procurement Division Head:
Supervises the movement, and distribution of supplies and materials in the company.
Provides logistic support and oversees the overall logistic processes in support of the objectives of the company.
Oversees documents of import and export goods into and out of the country through air, land and sea.
Manages daily shipping and distribution operations.
Plans, oversights, manage and coordinate the logistics support operations to ensure the smooth accomplishment of the company’s objectives.
Manages all import and export documents such as shipping notice, pick slips, bill of lading etc.
Inspects labels, bar-codes and other features of purchased goods and supplies before transporting the items.
Selects carriers and negotiates rates and contracts with transportation and logistics providers.
Collaborates with the warehouse, purchasing and other divisions to optimize the logistics operation.
Surveys ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers.
Works with other departments and divisions to incorporate logistics with company procedures.
Ensures compliance to legal regulations and company policies, and resolves issues regarding shipping disputes.
Ensures that customers are being served professionally at all times.
Prepares freight-related payments and documents and get them ready for the Accounts Division.
Performs other business-related tasks under instruction from the division head.

Education and Experience:
BA degree in logistics Management or Business Management and 4 years of relevant experience in logistics related work in business organizations.
Skills:
Strong in technical, operational skills, Experience in logistics activities, Logical reasoning, Strong numerical, analytical skills, Proficiency in computer skills, Good written and verbal communication and excellent negotiation skills.
