Haile Resort - Jimma is the upcoming four-star resort opening soon and the 10th destination of Haile Hotels & Resorts Group located in Jimma. Jimma (Oromo: Jimmaa) is the largest city in southwestern Oromia Region, Ethiopia. It is a special zone of the Oromia Region and is surrounded by Jimma Zone. We are hiring just for a pre-opening team & the below vacancies are among them.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of hot and cold menu items to the restaurant's standards

• Ensure food is cooked properly and presented attractively

• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area

• Assist in inventory management and ordering of kitchen supplies

• Collaborate with the chef and kitchen staff to implement new menu items and specials

• Adhere to all food safety and health regulations

Job Requirements

• Level - one and above certification in food production/Hotel operation/ Hotel management/Tourism/ and related fields       

• 2+ years of cooking experience in a restaurant or professional kitchen setting

• Knowledge of various cooking techniques, food preparation, and presentation

• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-pressure environment

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
