Receiving and Inspecting Deliveries: 

• Receive incoming materials, verify them against purchase orders or respective dispatching notes, and inspect for quality and quantity discrepancies.

Documentation and Record Keeping. 

• Maintain receipts, records on material / receipt respective stock cards or bin cards, and withdrawals related to inventory, and generate reports on stock levels and usage rates.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Apply proper storekeeping tools such as Goods Receiving Notes, Goods Issuing Notes, Dispatching forms, Stock cards. 

• Make sure that each stocked material has updated information in terms of volume, quality , classifications and grades on their respective stock cards and other warehouse management tools.

• Perform regular inventory audits, track movement of each stocked materials and ensure that inventory is organized and easily accessible.

• Prepare inventory movement information and  present updated status to the General Manager and Warehouse manager on a daily basis ,  work closely with Export departments  and other related departments to understand their inventory needs and provide support as required.

• Manage stock management systems, stacking of materials in the warehouse, and ensure that all items are stored properly. 

• Ensure that appropriate movement of stock materials such as FIFO or LIFO is in place based on nature and timing of stocked materials.

• Ensure that the store or warehouse is clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations. Propose any improvements as necessary.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Accounting or similar field of study; additional training in inventory management or logistics is a plus.

• Work experience: 4 years and above previous experience in a similar role and in import-export business.

• Required skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, proficiency in inventory management and related software, and good communication skills are essential.

• Work Environment

• Storekeepers typically work in a warehouse or retail setting, which may require physical labor, including lifting        and moving heavy items to manage inventory effectively.
