Job Summary

 The Chief of HR & Admin is charged with fostering a culture of modernization, digitization, and innovation across the organization. This role involves steering the company's support functions such as human resources, administration, procurement, and facilities towards not just alignment with corporate goals but also excellence in performance. The Chief of HR & Admin will be pivotal in embedding a performancedriven and startup-like culture, encouraging agility and creative problem-solving. By championing the use of cutting-edge technologies and practices, the Chief of HR & Admin ensures that the organization remains at the leading edge of the industry, continually enhancing efficiency, enabling smarter decision-making, and promoting sustainable growth through technological empowerment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

Strategic Leadership:

 • Develop and execute strategies for the effective management of corporate services. 

• Align support functions with the organization's overall goals and objectives. 

• Advise senior leadership on matters related to corporate services. 

Departmental Oversight: 

• Supervise and lead multiple departments or units, including Human Resources (HR), Administration, Procurement, and Facilities. 

• Ensure that each department operates efficiently and aligns with the organization's mission. 

• Integrate global thinking into all administrative functions and ensure this is addressed in policy development, implementation, and training awareness. These concepts can include employee and partner safeguarding, whistleblowing, succession planning, etc. 

Human Resources (HR) Management: 

• Oversee HR functions, including recruitment, talent management, performance evaluation, and employee development. 

• Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and organizational policies. 

• Foster a positive workplace culture and employee engagement.

Administration: 

• Manage office operations and administration, including facilities, office space, and equipment. 
• Oversee records management, document control, and mail services. 
• Coordinate administrative support functions to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Procurement and Supply Chain: 

• Lead procurement efforts, including vendor selection, contract negotiations, and cost management. 
• Manage inventory and supply chain operations to optimize resource utilization. 
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations.

Facilities Management: 

• Maintain and improve office facilities, including space planning, safety, and security. 
• Oversee health and safety compliance and emergency response planning. 
• Manage facilities-related budget and expenses.

Compliance and Ethics: 

• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements across all corporate service functions. 
• Develop and enforce ethical standards and policies.

Policy Development and Governance: 

• Develop and maintain corporate policies and procedures. 
• Support the organization's corporate governance practices. 
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance guidelines and regulations.

Communication and Reporting: 

• Communicate corporate services strategies, updates, and performance to senior leadership and 
stakeholders. 
• Prepare and present reports on key performance indicators and service delivery metrics.

Stakeholder Engagement: 

• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, regulators, 
and partners. 
• Represent the organization in corporate services matters to the public and regulatory bodies.

Job Requirements

Qualifications: 

• MA degree in Business Administration, Management, HR, or another related field. 

• Professional Certification (preferred). 

• 10+ years of experience in a senior corporate services role at a management level and progressive responsibility in corporate administration.

 Competency/Prerequisites: 

• Hands-on experience supervising and leading various support departments.

 • A foundational understanding of organizational structures, processes, and management principles.

 • Deeper insights into strategic management and leadership

 • A track record of identifying areas of improvement, implementing best practices, and driving change initiatives in previous roles. • Basic understanding of change management. 

• Proven experience in developing and executing strategies in corporate services, aligning departmental goals with the organization's objectives, and advising senior leadership. 

• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, partners, and regulatory bodies
