The Opportunity

The job holder provide supports to OTP /SC activities of the government, in all kebeles of each target woredas. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the provision of quality out-patient therapeutic and in-patient care of SAM case management, and follow-up services to target beneficiaries through ensuring adherence to national and international SAM case management protocols.

Safeguarding Children and Young People (Safeguarding) and Gender Equality and Inclusion (GEI)

• Understands and puts into practice the responsibilities under Safeguarding and GEI policies and Plan International’s Code of Conduct (CoC),

• Ensuring that concerns are reported and managed in accordance with the appropriate procedures.

• Ensures that all staff signed safeguarding policies;

• Implement Plan International’s global policies for Safeguarding Children and Young People and Gender Equality and Inclusion are fully embedded in day to day work.

Job Requirements

The Individual

Qualifications/ experience essential:

• Education: Nursing diploma from a recognized health college

• Minimum two years’ experience post qualification and with valid registration/practicing license and experience in nutrition program (TSFP)

• implementation – case definition and care, TSFP management, data collection and compilation, working with counterpart for lasting intervention,

• training of health volunteers, etc

• Work experience in Health Service Extension Program is an asset.
