The type of emergency nursery services required and guides the incumbents of the position on the dispensation of their duties at the respective station/hospital/, ensure clients safety, satisfaction and respect the organization’s rules and regulation from the health stand point of view.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

·    Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and conditions continuously.

·    Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.

·    Implement and manage life-saving procedures in emergency situations.

·    Work closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.

·    Communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and cohesive patient care.

·    Advocate for patients' needs and preferences.

·    Provide emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times.

·    Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

·    Document all interventions, assessments, and changes in patient status.

·    Monitor changes in patients' conditions and adjust care plans accordingly.

·    Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make recommendations for improvement.

·    Adhere to established protocols and standards to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.

·    Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.

Job Requirements

Qualification and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a relevant field.

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.

• Three and above year of ICU nursing experience.

Competencies

·    Specialized training or certification in critical care nursing preferred.

·    Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.

·    Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

·    Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment
