Senior Storekeeper is responsible to carry out the job of receipts, storage and issuance of raw materials, packing materials, Maintain records of all received and issued materials

Main Responsibilities

Under the guidance of the store head, the Senior Storekeeper shall carry out the following duties:

• At the time of receiving new consignments, they have been examined and assessed to take in to account the nature of the product, special attention should be given to raw, packing materials chemicals requiring special storage conditions 

• Before acceptance of each consignments, you should be examined visually for appropriate labelling as to contents, damage or broken seals and contamination, etc.

• Check physically the consignment against purchase requisition, purchase order invoice and other supporting documents. At the same time measure, count and weigh the materials received.

• After getting approval from quality control department prepare goods receiving note and signed for the fulfillment of this document.

• Record all the information in the bin card and log book.

• Prepare records when you discover shortage, damage, overage and out of specification of raw materials, packing materials, chemicals, spare parts and stationeries and report to the store Head as soon as possible.

• Transfer immediately the rejected materials to the rejection store. At the same time prepare transfer voucher and register the transfer of the rejected materials.

• Make sure the materials stored under the conditions specified by the manufacturer in order to avoid any deterioration by light, moisture or temperature. Temperature and humidity should be monitored and recorded periodically.

• Assures materials are going to be issue only to authorized persons in accordance with formal documented procedures.

• In the case of raw materials and liquid materials, checked the expiry date, cleanliness of the materials and approval before issue to manufacturing areas.

• You should arrange the materials so as to easy to count during annual inventory and surprised inventory.

• Regularly check the stores and take preventive measures of theft, deterioration, contamination, spillage or breakage.

• Performs all additional works as instructed by immediate supervisor.

Job Requirements

• BA Degree/Diploma in Pharmacy & 2/4 years of relevant work experience in similar manufacturing industry. 

Skills required: 

• Good interpersonal skill 

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Good organizing and supervising

• Advanced GMP Training 

• Basic knowledge of material management

• Ability and willingness to work and participate effectively in a team environment.
