Job Description
Action for Social Development and Environmental Protection Organization (ASDEPO) is an Ethiopian indigenous, “Civil Society Organization” established in 2014. ASDEPO is mandated to operate in all regional states of the country and is engaged in different thematic program areas of intervention namely: Humanitarian Response, Education, Health, Women and Youth Economic Empowerment, Gender Based Violence and Child Protection, Migration/Human Trafficking, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), NTD’s Climate Change, Agriculture, Environmental Protection and Training in Gambella, Oromiya, Benishangul Gumuz, Afar and Somali Region.
Job Description
Field Coordinator will be responsible for the overall management of the day-to-day activities of a ASDEPOs CMAM, WASH, Agriculture and other activities in the assigned Field site.
Key areas of responsibility are;
Supervise and review of weekly and monthly reports from stabilization centers (SC) and outpatient Therapeutic Programme (OTP) SFP and other related activities in accordance with Donor and National Protocols
Maintain work schedule with each Nutrition, WASH and Agriculture department to address all Project targeted implementation areas.
Update the Health and Nutrition Manager on the implementation of the CMAM and other activities on weekly basis.
Work with Woreda and zonal MoH, DRM, Agriculture and other officials to ensure all aspects of Programme understood and agreed to implement the Programme.
Conduct capacity assessment of the activities on monthly basis with Woreda Nutrition, WASH and Agriculture focal person and incorporate the finding to the monthly progress report.
Prepare monthly progress reports, statistic reports and Terminal report for submission to the respective Program Coordinators.
Provide Operational Support and guidance for CMAM officer, IYCF Officer, WASH Officer and Agriculture Officer to increase quality of Project implementation.
Manage Project Budget in accordance with Donor and ASDEPOs policies by Communicating with Addis technical and Finance teams.
Ensure that all staff fully complete and sign timesheets monthly for submission to HQ timely.
Ensure payments made locally are compliant with the Procurement & Authorization Chart with appropriate supporting documents according to the ASDEPO s procurement Manual.
Ensure that distribution lists and records are properly documented, maintained and filed for submission to HQ quarterly.
Ensure stock cards are maintained for all items received, separated by donor and reconcile to all store documents.
Update Security situation to Addis timely and provide necessary measures in Communication with HQ management teams
Requirements;
Candidate is expected to have BSc/MSc/MPH in Nursing, MD, Public Health, Environmental Health and Nutrition with a minimum of 6 years’ experience.
And also, potential Candidate is expected to have experience in INGO and NGOs in Supervisory and Managerial role for at least 3 years.
Experience working in North Wollo area is highly preferable.
