We are looking for a skilled Academic Head to lead our academic programs, oversee curriculum development, manage faculty, and engage with parents. The role also involves teaching responsibilities if needed and requires strong proficiency in technology, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement academic strategies and policies to align with the institution’s vision and mission.

• Oversee curriculum development and ensure academic programs meet institutional standards.

• Manage and support faculty, conduct performance evaluations, and facilitate professional growth.

• Monitor student performance and implement strategies to enhance academic outcomes.

• Manage academic resources and prepare performance reports.

• Teach courses if required and utilize advanced technology to support academic functions.

• Engage with parents to keep them informed and involved in their children's education.

• Foster a collaborative and inclusive academic environment.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field with 5 years of academic management experience, or

• Master’s degree in education with 2 years of academic management experience.

Skills:

• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and general tech tools.

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Fluency in English is required; Somali is a plus.

• Ability to engage effectively with parents and support student success.
