Job Description
This position is responsible for handling and coordinating all IT Risk management activities; identifying, evaluating, and monitoring the overall Information technology risk of the bank; to report to the actual, mitigated, and residual risk; formulate a framework to assess the risk and prepare summary reports and recommend prudential measures.
Duties & Responsibilities
Identify, analyze and evaluate IT-related risks, recommend possible risk responses and review the implementation of recommended responses.
Enforce that all the Bank’s IT policies and procedures are compliant with regulatory requirements and other international standards.
Adhere to advise, oversee, monitor, and enforce enterprise frameworks and methodologies that relate to technology controls or information security activities.
Facilitate end-to-end risk remediation planning, resolution, and monitoring activities.
Identify operations and defects in the computer and network system and the usage of outdated and substandard technological tools.
Oversee the regular testing of the IT system and disaster recovery plan and initiate updates for major changes in hardware, applications, and business accordingly.
Identify and review the potential threats and vulnerabilities for Bank’s business related to information technology.
Implement measurement standards related to technology risk, analyze risk scenarios to determine their impact on a bank's business objectives.
Champion change management processes to ensure compliance and effectivity in mitigating risk
Manage plans for information risk management and oversees them through to completion protecting the bank from any misconducts and handling of information
Work with teams to challenge in risk assessments on specific Information Technology Risk
Promote Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery processes.
Run with innovation projects to advise and challenge on implementation of information security and general IT controls requirements.
Facilitate and monitor IT to keep its Risk Appetite within predefined thresholds.
Supervise Information technology risk compliance, reporting from the departments and actions and track remediation.
Perform other related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's/ B.Sc. Degree in Computer Science; Information Technology or in related fields.
Experience:
At least 4 years relevant experience with 2 years as Officer level I or equivalent.
