Job Requirements

• Education: An advanced university degree (Master's degree, or equivalent) in international relations, political science, public administration, business administration, law, or related fields is required. A first-level university degree in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree. Successful completion of both degree and non-degree programs in data analytics, business analytics or data science programs is an advantage.

• Work Experience: A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in protocol, external relations or a related area is required. Experience in an international organization and/or the United Nations System is desirable. Work experience in the area of protocol or event management in a multilateral and bilateral protocol setting is desirable. Experience in data analytics or related area is desirable.

• Languages: English and French are the working languages of the Secretariat. For the advertised position, fluency in English is required; knowledge of French is desirable. Knowledge of another UN official language is an advantage.
