Job Description
Identify, define, and assesses the properties and specifications necessary for the database management system (DBMS) to meet current and future needs of the organization.
Define a logical database structure for application development based on the organizational structure of the company.
Define and execute procedures for testing and implementing new applications in the database environment.
Develop and implement policies and procedures related to data security and integrity.
Develop, implement, and monitor access policies, limiting database access on a need-related basis.
Develop, maintain, and control additional corporate data libraries specific to the organization, industry, or locality.
Ensure project and department milestones and goals are met on time and within budget.
Assesses current and projected database performance and recommends changes and enhancements.
Draft training documentation and guidelines for analysts and end users.
Resolve data conflicts for matters such as naming conventions, data privacy, and data ownership.
Maintain knowledge of trends, developments, and best practices in DBMS and related technology.
Performs others task that might be given by the immediate supervisor from time to time.
Job Requirements
Required Qualification:
MSC, MA, BSC, BA in Computer Science, Computer engineering, Information system, Information technology, MIS & or other related fields of studies.
Required Experience:
9 years of experience in relevant position in the banking industry of which 2 years as Principal System & Datacenter Administration Officer or related position
