Job Description
Kerchanshe Group is the largest producer and exporter of coffee in Ethiopia, and engage in manufacturing, agro-processing and export business. It has a proud history of providing quality coffees to the local and international markets. Currently Kerchanshe Group needs a dedicated and motivated candidate.
We are looking for an ambitious general Foreman to join our team! As a general Foreman, your main responsibility will be to manage and coordinate construction projects.
We are expecting you to have a solid experience in construction, outstanding leadership personality and ability to make decisions in complex situations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Plan, implement and manage construction tasks in accordance with design specification, priorities and goals
Controlling the skilled and unskilled workers performance.
Ensure quality of construction work.
Produce employee and project schedules
Manage and monitor member’s attendance and work
Adhere to relevant safety regulations
Manage and guide the use of machinery and equipment
Monitor expenditures
Keep budget in check
Peacefully resolve any emerging problems and issues
Allocate and delegate responsibilities
Supervise, train and give feedback to workers
Ensure labor and other resources necessary
Prepare and present progress
Job Requirements
Qualification
BSc in civil engineering, Construction Management or related field of study and above 5 years of work Experience is mandatory.
Requirements and skills
In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles
Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards
Good knowledge of MS Office
Familiarity with construction/ project management software
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
A team player with leadership abilities
