Job Description

The Store Keeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of inventory, overseeing stock levels, and ensuring that materials are stored and issued efficiently. They will play a key role in inventory control and must ensure that the store is well-organized and stocked.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods.

  • Organize and maintain stock according to store layout and guidelines.

  • Issue materials and products based on authorized requisitions.

  • Conduct regular stock counts and report discrepancies.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and update the system regularly.

  • Ensure the cleanliness and orderliness of the store.

  • Ensure proper documentation for items received and issued.

  • Coordinate with the procurement and operations teams for stock needs.

  • Monitor stock levels and place orders when necessary.

  • Adhere to safety and health regulations.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.

  • 2-3 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or stock management.

Required Skills:

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.

  • Good communication skills.
