Pepsico/ Senselet Food Processing is a potato processing company in Ethiopia producing potato chips. It has been set up in accordance with European standards and knowledge and produces high quality potato crisps, branded as Sun Chips, that are sold locally in the Ethiopian market.

The Warehouse Coordinator shall be under the general direction of the Warehouse Manager. The main responsibility of the job holder is overseeing the daily warehousing operations, for raw material, consumables and finished goods. Duties involve receiving, sorting, storing and issuing of raw materials, consumables, chemicals and other materials and receiving, storing and transferring of finished goods to Addis Ababa and upcountry. The warehouse coordinator is also responsible for managing inventory levels of finished goods, raw materials, consumables, chemicals and other materials, and following up purchase needs.

Responsibilities 

• Ensures warehousing operations are aligned with PepsiCo EHS agenda and targets.

• Adheres to quality standards and ensures all quality requirements are always followed (e.g., FIFO)

• Coordinate incoming and outgoing inventory deliveries.

• Conducts daily checks on inventory and takes appropriate action and escalates discrepancies.

• Update and maintain storage database and records

• Provide regular inventory reports to management.

• Identify potential inventory shortages and communicate with relevant departments.

• Receive and verify accuracy of incoming inventory.

• Resolve any discrepancies between paperwork and inventory received.

• Inspect and ensure quality of incoming inventory and process returns in collaboration with quality department.

• Tracks consumption of materials (like raw materials, chemicals, consumables, stationary materials, cleaning materials) under supervision and ensures their availability.

• Ensures the warehouse is clean, safe, and secure.

• Keeps WH according to standard operating procedures.

• Ensures daily operations runs smoothly and effectively.

• Follow up employees under finished goods store and control.

• Allocate and organize storage locations according to requirements.

• Oversee and assist with the loading and unloading of deliveries.

• Ensure accuracy of shipping and receiving documents

• Maintain quality data recordings and the necessary documents.

• Perform other related duties as assigned by the line manager. 

• Executes financial and process controls as per standard.

• Timely inventory reporting

Requirements

Education: 

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Logistic and Supply chain management, Business Management, and Material management or other related fields

Experience:         

• 3 years in warehouse operations preferably in FMCG

Language: 

• Able to speak, read and write in English

Computer:         

• Able to use and utilize MS office applications
