Pepsico/ Senselet Food Processing is a potato processing company in Ethiopia producing potato chips. It has been set up in accordance with European standards and knowledge and produces high quality potato crisps, branded as Sun Chips, that are sold locally in the Ethiopian market.

Training Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and evaluating training programs within the PepsiCo Supply Chain. This position collaborates with various departments to identify training needs, develop training materials, and ensure the effective delivery of training initiatives. The Training Coordinator will also track training attendance, maintain training records, and assess the impact of training programs on employee performance. 

Responsibilities 

• Conducting needs assessments to understand what employees already know and what they need to learn next as well as 

• Collaborate with department managers to identify training needs and develop training plans aligned with organizational goals.

• Coordinate and schedule training sessions, including securing training venues, arranging equipment, and notifying participants.

• Develop training materials, such as presentations, handouts, and online resources, to support the delivery of training programs.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts and trainers to deliver effective training sessions.

• Track and monitor training attendance, maintaining accurate records of participant information and training outcomes.

• Evaluate training programs through surveys, assessments, and feedback to assess the effectiveness and make necessary improvements.

• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in training and development to enhance training programs.

• Assist in the selection and management of external training vendors when required.

• Communicate training information, schedules, and updates to relevant stakeholders.

• Provide administrative support, such as maintaining training databases, preparing reports, and managing training materials inventory.

• Measuring the effectiveness of training programs by conducting evaluations with participants and managers after a course has been completed

• Align set out trainings to the factory master plan and road map

Job Requirements

Education: 

• BSC in Mechanical/Electrical/ Chemical or Industrial Engineering.

Experience: 

• 2 years experience in a manufacturing industry preferably in FMCG. Prior experience with TPM, WCM, RCM 

Language:   

• Able to speak, read and write in English

Computer:  

• Proficient in using training software, learning management systems, Microsoft office tools and other training tools. Proficiency in using training software, learning management systems, and other training tools
