Job Description
Tamra for Social Development Organization (TSD), an indigenous civil society organization, has been dedicated to community development in Addis Ababa, Oromia, South Ethiopia, and Sidama for over 27 years. TSD is seeking qualified candidates for the following positions
Job Grade and Section: G3-S1
Reporting to: Finance Manager
Contract Duration: 1 year with possible extension based on good performance.
Location: Shashemene Regional Office, with frequent travel to project sites.
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: Negotiable
Key Role: The Finance Officer is responsible for managing the financial operations of the regional office of the organization, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, budget management, and compliance with financial policies and regulations. This role involves processing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and providing support to the finance and program teams to ensure effective financial management.
Education: BA/master's degree in accounting and finance
Experience: 4/2 years in accounting and finance works within the non- profit sector, including 1-2 years directly in finance.
