Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and fix networking devices like switches, routers, servers, etc.

• Install cables ( fiber and copper) cables, patch panels, splice enclosures and other fiber cable accessories in fttx networks.

• Carries out testing of fiber lines in fttx networks, metro networks and others.

• Upgrade and maintain networks.

• Install wireless networks, cabling, and connections.

• Troubleshoot  and solve  basic networking issues .

• Carries out regular inspection and maintenance of various networking devices and backup power systems.

• Install, maintain and fix power lines to data centers.

• Install, operate ,maintain and fix power backup systems like battery backups and Diesel generators.

Job Requirements

Qualification and Skills

• Diploma in IT, computer science or any related field from an accredited technical school or college.

• At least one year experience as a network technician or relevant position.

• Outstanding diagnostic, problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Skillful in installation of devices.

• Good communication skills.

• Good knowledge of networking.
