Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Planning and installation of the company’s facilities such as power backup systems, power lines, generators, HVAC, Cameras, etc.

  • Troubleshooting and fixing issues within the facilities     

  •  Maintenance and repair of data centers facilities .

  •  Using the power monitoring tools  to monitor the power system of Data centers and acting proactively so that a high availability can be achieved  

  • Regular monitoring of generators and topping up the fuel.

  • Operating portable diesel generators when required at facilities.

  • Managing projects of Data Center building.

  • Ensuring that all facility equipment is running properly and efficiently.

  • Ensuring high Availability of network devices

  • Keeping access logs of data centers

  • Processing rentals of facilities.

  • Postmortem report of major power outages

Job Requirements

Qualification and Skills

  • Degree /advanced diploma from an accredited technical school or college.

  • At least three years of experience in IT facility management or related.

  • Outstanding diagnostic, problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Skillful in installation of devices.

  • Good communication skills.
