Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

Carryout, maintain, participate and contribute to his/her sections activity including (keeping record of employee benefits and compensations, incentives and pensions, keeping records and other related documents) to ensure proper benefit and compensation system in the company.

  1. Communicating with the compensation and benefit supervisor and personnel, Compensation 
    and Benefit Manager in developing the Lemi National Cement business plan concerning the necessary needs of the compensation and benefit section in light with the company goals and strategic objectives.

  2. Handle timely execution of retired employee pension benefits. 

  3. Prepares all employees compensations timely as per company Policy.

  4. Facilitate final pay or termination payments to exiting employee in accordance with any legal deductions have been made.

  5. Facilitate for the employee payment for unused annual leaves or sick leaves or special leaves 

  6. Prepare periodic performance report of his/her duties

  7. Prepare termination payments for all departing daily laborers.

  8. Initiate and follow up materials request for departmental employees with regard to safety 
    appliances, soap, detergent, etc. and maintain timely delivery to each concerned. 

  9. Handle per dimes, allowances, and other benefits of employees. 

  10. Follow up and report monthly incentive for concerned employees have been paid on time. 

  11. Following payment of bonuses, salary increments, and other annual benefits has been paid on time.

  12. Follow up severance payment is made for the legal successors of deceased employees. 

  13. Follow up severance payment is made on time for retired employees. 

  14. Follow up payment is made for transportation, per diem, transportation allowances and 
    other related benefits for transferred employees. 

  15. Process and follow insurance, pension coverage and personnel protective equipment (PPE’s) 
    and other benefits are granted for the newly hired employees. 

  16. Facilitating along with his/her supervisor, medical per diem for employees who referred for 
         higher medical treatment. 

  17. Ensuring hospital admitted employees get proper treatment.

  18. Prepare work or medical per diem or travel expenses in completing the form, verify and 
         submit it to his/immediate supervisor.

  19. Computing benefit of absent employees. 

  20. Ensure all information regarding compensation and benefits of employees are documented properly.

  21. Prepare and report different compensation and benefit letters to compensation and benefit 
       supervisor. 

  22. Follow up monthly employees’ payroll attendance report. 

  23. Performs other job-related duties as required by the immediate supervisor.

Job Requirements

Master’s Degree in Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, HRM, or related fields with a minimum of six (6) years of experience, including three  (3) years in a Senior  position. Or a Bachelor’s Degree in the same fields with at least eight  (8) years of experience, including three (3) years in a senior position role. Experience in a factory setting has advantageous.
