Reports to: Accountant

The Junior Accountant will provide support to Dodai’s financial department by managing daily accounting tasks such as preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts and other duties, as assigned.

In addition, s/he will be in charge of posting journal entries, maintaining accounts, receivables, or payables and administering monthly payroll for the company’s employees while preparing regular reports as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded

• Update accounts receivable and issue invoices

• Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations

• Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines

• Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned

• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed

• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports

• Assist accounting team in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings

• Take additional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and office operations.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Management or closely related fields

• 0 to 1 year experience.

• Aptitude for math, proficiency with computers.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.
