Job Description
Junior accountants are trained financial professionals who provide support to businesses by managing daily accounting and financial tasks. They compile reports and prepare, maintain and reconcile financial statements and other financial documents.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate inventory reporting of receipt and consumption activities
Record all inventory related documents and reconcile balances on monthly basis
Inventory valuations and inventory reserve calculations
Assist with establishing internal controls
Review and reconcile GL vs subsidiary inventory accounts
Review journal entries during month-end closing
Reconcile monthly cycle counts and semi-annual physical counts to the perpetual inventory ledger
Job Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or master’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field
Proven experience of 2 years in accounting and finance, with a focus on financial reporting analysis
Experience in using ERPs (especially Sage 300 (ACCPAC) is a plus
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Proven knowledge of how to use Microsoft office products (EXEL,Word)
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
