Dembel City Center, also known as Dembel Mall which is a sister company of Yencomad construction PLC, is a shopping center in Addis Ababa. Located in the center of the city less than 3 mi (4.8 km) from Bole International Airport, it was one of the first Western-style shopping malls in Ethiopia. Built in 2002, the twelve-floor structure and an Extension of Seven- floor building currently has different offices, shops, restaurants, studios and other.
Dembel City Center is part of a modern development of the city center along Bole Road, also known as Airport Road or Africa Avenue.
REPORTS TO: Marketing Manager
The Leasing and Marketing Officer will report to the Marketing Manager in supporting the company’s leasing and Marketing programs.
The Leasing and Marketing Officer work with the Marketing Manager to execute the leasing and marketing strategies for Demebel City Center to ensure that the property achieves 100% occupancy and maximizes revenue by growing rent rates.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Works closely with the Marketing Manager to develop leasing and revenue generating plans;
Assists the Marketing Manager in gathering and compiling current market and economic information and preparing competitive market analysis and market trends;
Update and maintain the Leasing database; Maintains a comprehensive database of tenants proposed, current and previous tenants
Actively promotes leasable spaces and seeks out new commercial opportunities
Show spaces that are available for lease as required;
Reviews tenant applications and proposals and makes recommendations to the Senior Management;
Prepare new leasing contracts and submit to the marketing manager for approval.
Follow-up & up date or re-new the leasing contracts on time.
Works closely with the HR & General Service Section and other departments in the administration of all leasing contracts and day to day tenant relations for leasing operations.
Compiling statistical information as required;
Manage Dembel City Center’s social media pages by creating weekly content and responding to comments and messages;
Update Dembel City Center’s website with relevant information as required together with the company ICT Department;
Assist with developing marketing strategies;
Undertake daily administrative functions and coordination of marketing activities,
Works closely with the Finance Team in organizing and analyzing of relevant statistical & leasing information.
Ensuring that all relevant information is handed over to Finance Department for processing;
Conduct market research and analyze consumer rating report/survey/questionnaires;
Prepares annual leasing and marketing budgets and monthly leasing and marketing reports
Executes Leasing and marketing plans as approved by Senior Management
Coordinate the sourcing and ordering Company’s promotional items;
Performs any other relevant duties as directed by the Marketing Manager or or Mall Manager.
Minimum requirement
BA Degree in Marketing Management & Economics
At Least two years’ experience and above in Marketing, Administration, and customer relations
Experience in Malls would be ideal.
