Job Description

The Quality Analyst is responsible for ensuring quality control in all services that is given from Laboratory that can help in compliance of the brewery to its sampling plans, quality and food safety requirements.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the Quality analysis of raw materials, process operations, and finished product are completed timely and that the data is inputted into the provided tool/system.

  • Operate, calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment in an accurate and safe way as per the calibration and maintenance plan.

  • Practice proper asset and stock management across the laboratories. 

  • Perform physicochemical tests of raw material, wort, fermentation, maturation, bright beer and finished product as per the company SOP & Work instructions. 

  • Report non compliances on time to take corrective actions.

  • Quarantine any finished product that does not comply with specifications for decision by management, ensuring all product sent to trade meets company and customer requirements

  • Release Finished Product in a timely and accurate manner, once authorized at the correct levels, to all the relevant departments.

  • Participate in the Sensory Evaluation trainings and Ensure that all process aids, in process samples, BBTs and finished products are analyzed as per the sensory sampling plan.

  • Report on safety, quality and hygiene aspects through the provided platforms. 

  • Comply with the individual and departmental KPIs. 

  • Timely escalation of nonconformance in the shift to the responsible person as per the escalation procedure.

  • Organize and maintain the workplace according to the 5S standards.

  • Ensure implementation of GLP with in the own work 

  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Academic requirement: 

  • MSC/BSC in chemistry/ chemical engineering or related fields

Work experience: 

  • 2/4 years of relevant experience.

Additional Competencies: 

  • Innovative

  • Capable of managing multiple

  • High-priority assignments

  • Strong interpersonal skills at various levels

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Very strong in MS Excel

  • Awareness of all relevant requirements regarding FSMS, QMS, EMS and OHS.
