The Senior Accountant is a key member of the finance team responsible for overseeing and managing complex accounting tasks, financial analysis, and reporting. This role requires a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry best practices

Roles and Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

• Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and other relevant regulations.   

• Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate and timely posting of transactions.

• Reconcile bank accounts and other financial records.

• Prepare and file tax returns.

• Conduct financial audits and reviews.

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.

• Assist with budgeting and forecasting.

• Prepare financial reports for management and stakeholders.

• Provide financial advice and support to management.

• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.

• Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with team members.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting and financial regulations.

• Identify and mitigate financial risks.

• Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance.

• Minimum 5 years of experience.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.

• Proficiency in accounting software 

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
