The Senior Safety & Security Officer- Technology Equipment’s is responsible for ensuring physical security by effectively and efficiently operating security technology systems. The role involves promptly addressing any issue & malfunctions to minimize downtime and maintain system effectiveness. In addition, the role holder is responsible for overseeing the effectiveness safety of technological systems critical to modern safety & security operations

Job Requirements:

Academic & Professional Qualification 

• BA/BSC Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, IT or related field Relevant professional qualifications and certifications are added advantage

Experience

• At least five (5) years of relevant experience

Required Technical Competency

• Proficiency in installing, configuring and maintaining alarm system, security cameras and GPS tracking system.

• Understanding of electrical circuits, wiring, and networking principles (familiarity with various types of security technologies and their applications.

• Proven knowledge of safety and security regulations, standards, and best practices applicable to the industry.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess Safety & Security risks, develop strategies

• Experience in crisis management, emergency response, and incident investigation.

• Familiarity with security management software systems.

• Familiarity with integrating various security systems such as access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and alarm systems into a cohesive and centralized security infrastructure.

• Familiarity with CCTV systems and video analytics software for real-time monitoring, threat detection, and forensic analysis of video footage to identify security incidents and anomalies.
