Job Description

The Outsourced Operations Lead will be responsible for leading and managing outsourced services in alignment with established policies and guidelines. This role involves overseeing and ensuring quality service delivery according to the terms and conditions outlined in agreements. Additionally, the lead will ensure timely payments to service providers, maintaining operational efficiency and contractual integrity.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee and track the terms and conditions outlined in the contract, providing regular updates on progress toward the agreed-upon milestones

  • Develop and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the performance of service providers. These metrics will assess efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance. Promptly take corrective measures if performance falls below defined targets.

  • Guarantee that all outsourced activities meet established standards by verifying that service providers adhere to the agreed-upon quality levels and performance expectations.

  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to address any issues and optimize outcomes.

  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all outsourced activities. This documentation is essential for tracking performance, identifying trends, and making informed decisions.

  • Implement rigorous follow-up procedures to recover outstanding amounts and ensure timely collection of payments for damages or losses caused by service providers

  • Escalate any issues related to Logistics Service Providers’ (LSPs) non-compliance with agreements and promptly address misalignments to maintain contractual integrity.

  • Ensure timely receipt of payment requests and validate that operational figures align with the actual tasks performed. Ensure all payments for the previous month are processed and prepare accruals in accordance with company policies

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree preferred

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management, with a track record of driving results in a fast-paced environment

  • Should have strong skills in data analysis and interpretation, along with familiarity with tools that support data analytics

  • Proven experience in transportation coordination or logistics management.

  • Strong understanding of transportation regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in transportation management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
