Our company – Yetem Trading PLC has been engaged in trading business since 1983 E.C. and owned a cosmetics house that supplies and distributes different brands. Yetem Trading has its extensive customers base from all over Ethiopia, and has created an assortment of collections that has gained it’s reputation to be the leading name in the cosmetics sector.

Currently, we are investing to establish a manufacturing unit of personal care cosmetics and plastic. The company owns a 5000 Sqm plot manufacturing facility in Sheger City Administration which is 4 km North of Addis Ababa at a specific place called Sululta. We installed technologically advanced machines and we are on the verge of starting production.

Major Duties

  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues

  • Manage the recruitment and selection process

  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital

  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization

  • Nurture a positive working environment

  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high-performance

  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs

  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics

  • Develops and maintain periodic human resources reports for management, utilizing standard HR-related metrics;

  • Prepare Job descriptions, advertise vacant positions, shortlist, and schedule interviews.

  • Source and search potential candidates for open positions

  • Ensure that each employee has completed all pension formalities and has obtained a pension ID card.

  • Maintain Employee Database, Personnel files, and all HR files

  • Assist in writing personnel letters as required (Offer letter, transfer, Promotion, increment, etc.)

  • Prepare monthly payroll and maintain payroll-related documents and make sure confidential information is kept properly;

  • Conducts exit interviews, identifying trends and recommending actions to address concerns;

  • Maintain employee records (leave, medical, etc.) and assist with any employee-related matters;

  • Assist the management of disciplinary and grievance issue

  • follow-up of third-party insurance and annual inspection of vehicles

  • follow up of office/building maintenance and cleanliness of head office and factory

  • Responsible for other duties as assigned by the management

Qualification and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, or related field with Five (5) years of experience of which two (2) years should be at the Senior or supervisor level. Specialist experience in manufacturing organizations is required.
