The job holder provides support to TSFP, OTP /SC activities of the government, in all kebeles of each target woredas. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the provision of quality management of Moderate Acute Malnutrition (MAM) IN TSFP, out-patient therapeutic (OTP) and in-patient care of SAM case management, and follow-up services to target beneficiaries through ensuring adherence to national and international MAM case management protocols

Job Requirement

Education

• Nursing Diploma from a recognized health college

• Minimum three years experience post qualification and with valid registration/practicing license and experience in nutrition program (TSFP) implementation – case definition and care, TSFP management, data collection, and compilation, working with counterpart for lasting intervention, training of health volunteers, etc.

• Work experience in the Health Service Extension Program is an asset.

Safeguarding Children and Young People (Safeguarding) and Gender Equality and Inclusion (GEI)

• Understands and puts into practice the responsibilities under Safeguarding and GEI policies and Plan International’s Code of Conduct (CoC), ensuring that concerns are reported and managed under the appropriate procedures.

• Ensures that all staff sign safeguarding policies;

• Implement Plan International’s global policies for Safeguarding Children and Young People and Gender Equality and Inclusion are fully embedded in day-to-day work.
